Roo’d Acres is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to providing lifelong care and safe haven for roosters and other displaced farm animals. Founded with compassion and a deep respect for every animal’s right to a peaceful life, our mission is to offer permanent refuge to birds and barnyard companions who are often overlooked, abandoned, or at risk. From loud and proud roosters to ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, and goats, each resident at Roo’d Acres is given space to heal, thrive, and simply be who they are—no matter where they came from.
